On Writing

The world will never be perfect…it will never be ideal. So, writing for me essentially is to fill the pot-holes(loop-holes) of life. In my writing, I can create the world which I want. I can create characters whom I can relate to. And hope that others will connect as well. Whenever I am talking to somebody some part of myself seeks for the connection, the connection of familiarity. I am always looking for people who are at some level like me. who like the same things as me who still feel like a child as well as an old soul / laid back person. Who likes old music, who prefer sukha bhel instead of dumplings. Who are more likely to laugh at things which are not meant to be funny. Through writing I can create such world, a world which only exists inside me but hope to show it to people and to tell them that you are not alone and to be assured that I am not alone. In this journey nobody is alone we are all carrying each other’s shoulders and egos to move forward. That is my intention for writing. And someday an Englishman will come to me and say yeah you know what sukha bhel is the best snack I have eaten. And that is my job done on earth.
